Favorites from the One Room Challenge

Hi friends!  Hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.  I can’t believe it is already Wednesday.  Finally, I have my top 5 picks of the designers featured in the One Room Challenge.  I think the reason this post took me forever to do is that I would go onto these designer’s blogs and get sucked in my all of the beautiful spaces on their sites. The creativity is endless.

First up, is Kristin at the Hunted Interior’s serene master bedroom.  The blue tones of the room are so soothing and there is enough pattern and texture to keep it sophisticated and interesting.  And don’t forget the chandelier!!

ORC Favorite 2

Next up is a room that is the complete opposite by the Pink Clutch.  It is saturated with color and vintage accessories at every turn.  If you have been reading this blog for a while, you know that I adore Chinoiserie and this room feeds my fix.

ORC Favorite 5

Next, is a simple room, but it makes quite a statement with bold wallpaper.  I don’t know about you, but I could get lost (and actually, maybe enjoy) doing laundry in this space by The Zhush.

ORC Favorite 3

I love the modern and feminine space created by Megan at Honey We’re Home.  The color palette is so fresh and soft.

ORC Favorite

Last but not least, is this dream bathroom by the Simplified Bee.  The mosaic marble floors- swoon!

ORC Favorite 4

So there you have it.  Head on over to Calling it Home to check out all the designer’s reveals.

Ken Fulk for Pottery Barn

Ken Faulk Pottery Barn

Pottery Barn

Lately, when I get the Pottery Barn catalog, if feel like it is always the same old stuff.  To me the decor has gotten tired, stale and predictable.  However, the other day, I was perusing their site and saw that they have collaborated with über chic San Francisco designer Ken Fulk.  The collection is classic, yet bold and whimsical.  It is just the jolt of fun and style that I think Pottery Barn needs.

Here are some of my favorites from the collection.

OB-Ken Fulk

Bar cart / Mirror / Chandelier / Lacquer boxes / Chair / Dresser

What do you think of the new collection?  I think it definitely steps up Pottery Barn’s design game.

Lilly Pulitzer For Target

Lilly Pulitzer for Target

Hello Decorating Delirium readers!  I though I would pop in this morning for a little public service announcement.  In case you didn’t know, one week from today on April 19th, Lilly Pulitzer’s 250 piece line will debut at Target stores and online.  The line features women, children and home accents.  The even better news is that 200 of the pieces are under $30.

I had actually never heard the story behind Lilly Pulitzer before.  Lilly was a socialite whose husband owned many citrus groves in Palm Beach.  Bored of sitting around their mansion, she decided to open up a juice stand on posh Worth Avenue.  In order to cover up the juice stains she encountered, she made several dresses out of a busy floral print to hide the stains.  Catching the eye of passers-by, including Jackie Kennedy, she began selling the dresses at her stand.  The rest is history!

Here are my favorite picks from the women’s line.

Here are my favorites from the kids line.  I can just imagine my two little ones dressed in matching outfits!  I simply can’t decide which one is my favorite!

OB-Lilly Pulitzer for Target Kids

Last but not least, here are my picks for home decor.

The lounge chair and pom pom napkins are high on my list!

If you want to get your preppy on, I would recommend running, not walking to your local Target store on April 19th!

Do you have a favorite piece from the collection?  You can see the entire lookbook of the collection here.

Have a great Sunday!

Designer Spotlight: Letitia Elizabeth Textiles + A Giveaway

Hello everyone and happy almost Christmas!

Today, I want to share with you a brand I recently discovered and I have fallen head over heals for.  It is called Letitia Elizabeth and they carry a luxurious line of houswares, bedding, textiles and loungeware.

Their patterns are serene yet bold.  The colors are subtle and feminine yet modern.  Their products are sourced locally and ethically and their product is of superior quality.

Dreamy, right?  I also feel that the textiles are modern enough for a man or a woman. I tend to get push back from my husband if our bedding is to floral or feminine.  This bedding hits the spot for sure!

Minted Now Sells Fabric!!

Online site Minted who is best known for their invitations and paper products is now selling fabric by the yard!  What makes Minted unique is that it is a marketplace of different artists.  Invitations, artwork, and fabric are all created by different, independent artists.  In looking at the fabric and artwork, they have artists located in my city and cities all over the Golden State.  It is an amazing way to support local artists.

Here are some of my favorites in their fabric collection.

Literal Trash to Treasure

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope you had an amazing weekend.  I was so lucky to enjoy a girls spa weekend in Lake Tahoe for my birthday.

I also had a chance to swing by a Homegoods on my way home.  I apparently feel the need to stop at every Homegoods I drive by!  I found this amazing black and white marble garbage can on clearance for only $10.  It is pure marble and weighs about 50 pounds.

I had no idea where I would put it, but I loved it.  When I got it home, I decided it would be a lovely container for flowers.  Here is what I did with it.  I love the way it looks with hydrangeas and I think it would look even more stunning with white hydrangeas.

I think it has a modern and chic Kelly Wearstler vibe to it.  Below are two fabrics from her line and I think my little vase (“trash can”) has a similar style and mood.

I figure I can always use it later for some other purpose or as an actual garbage can.

What do you think?  Have you ever repurposed an object for a totally different use?

Linking up to Thrifty Thursday.  Head on over to check out the inspiration!!

I have a slight pillow obsession and in fact have an entire Pinterest board dedicated to pillows!  It is such an easy way to change-up the feel of a space.  I started noticing that a ton of pictures I was pinning had these modern and fresh pillows made out of Caitlin Wilson Textiles.  She has such an amazing take on patterns and colors.  I love the Tribeca Collection for the patterns and the Gold Collection for its edgy and glamorous feel!  See how her pillows are used in the spaces below.
