Hey everyone! I hope you had a family filled and fun Thanksgiving. I sure did. I am so grateful for so many things, including you, my loyal readers! I am jumping for joy right now. I upholstered a vanity stool I found at an estate sale for $10, and I am so pleased with how it turned out.
Here is the before:
It was old, dirty and had fabric that had seen better days. But, I had been wanting a stool for my daughter’s vanity, so for $10 I bought it.
Here is the after:
Isn’t it amazing what a difference a fabric makeover can make? I can’t wait to see how it looks in my daughter’s room. I love re-uphostering things with good bones. It is so affordable and you can customize it with any fabric you set your sights on. I had been eyeing this vanity stool at Pottery Barn Kids, but I felt like the fabric and color choices were kind of boring. So glad I went the DIY route!
What do you think? Have you ever reupholstered anything?

Wow, Jennifer, you did such a great job! I love the colors and pattern! If you ever have the chance i would love a tutorial on reupholstering or a good link to one. Beautiful work!:-)
Thanks Tamara! I will have a tutorial up soon. I was just so excited how it turned out I wanted to post some quick picks!!
