Hi friends! I don’t know about you, but it is downright freezing right now where I live. Getting out of bed in the morning is tough. I just want to stay inside curled up in my PJ’s all day. So, when I am able to lounge inside all day, I want my home to feel cozy. Especially, during the long winter months after Christmas is over and it looks so bleak outside.
I think sheepskin throws are an amazing way to add style, texture, and warmth to any space. They can go with any decor from modern to cottage, and you can use them in a variety of rooms. I love them by the bedside, in the dining room, in a nursery or just thrown over a couch, chair or coffee table.
We have a leather storage ottoman we bought when we had little kids toys everywhere and no storage. It is not my ideal choice, but it works for right now. To give it some style, I placed a sheepskin rug over it and put a decorative tray over the rug. It helps to direct your eye away from the heavy, bulky leather.
I love how sheepskin rugs are used in the spaces below.

Don’t you just love how the sheepskin rugs look in these totally different interiors? The good news is you have a tons of options for both real and faux sheepskin at a variety of price points.
I really like the Rens from Ikea which is only $29.00. Their faux version the Tejn is only $12.99.
Do you like the look of sheepskin? How do you cozy-fy your space for the winter?
xoxo,
