Spring Accents On The Bar Cart

I absolutely love my Target wood and brass bar cart.  However, its brass and wood tones make it a bit on the dark side.  For fall and winter, it is perfect, but for Spring I wanted to liven it up a bit!

Cue in some flowers, fresh fruit and brightly colored straws and we are good to go!

Here is what it looks like now!

I found these little guys at a thrift store for only $5.  Gotta love the hunt!  I added some gold spray paint and they are like new.

These pink carnations were only $3 and they have lasted forever.  They are such an inexpensive flower to use in small or large groupings.  Move over roses!

You can follow my obsession with this bar cart here, here and here.  You can see “her” all dolled up for Christmas here.

Are you a fan of the bar cart?  If so, do you give it a gender like I do? Haha!  I feel like it is such a staple and can fit in any room with any decor.

Target Brass Bar Cart on Sale!!!

I just can’t get enough of Target’s Threshold Brass and Wood Bar Cart.  I wrote about it here and here.

target bar cart It is even lovelier in person!  You couldn’t beat the price at $129.00.  I know may of you couldn’t decide on whether to pull the trigger.  So, if you are still contemplating buying it, I thought I would let you know that I saw it at my local Target on sale for 30% off!  So, it is now only $90.00.  It is still $129.00 online.  As I wrote here, never pay full price at Target!!

I have this bar cart and I love it!  Similar versions will cost you so much more.  So, now you can get the look for even less.

Target Bar Cart Styled 3 Ways

I posted here about the amazing brass and wood bar cart at Target.  I bought one myself and so did some of you amazing readers!

I have been asked about how to style it.  Well, apparently I am not the only one in love with it, as some amazing bloggers have posted different ways to style it!  Check it out.

Deal Alert: Target Bar Cart

I have been wanting a bar cart for a while now.  In fact, I posted here about a vintage brass bar cart I was drooling over. Unfortunately, all of the carts I was drawn to were WAY to expensive.

However, the Threshold line at Target has a beautiful brass and wood bar cart right now that I think is a steal at $129.00.

This cart is even more beautiful in person.  I know because I went to Target, and there was no way this was not coming home with me!!!  It looks much more expensive than it is.  Similar carts would cost hundreds more!

In fact, it is similar to this bar cart from Crate and Barrel.  This will set you back $600.00.

Finally, the Beckett Bar Car comes in a brass finish from Williams-Sonoma and it will set you back $999.00

The Threshold cart gets rave reviews online and I bet it sells out.  Get yours while you can!

I am in love with my new bar cart and can’t wait to style it with all of my bar accessories I have stored away for so long.

Seriously, who does not need a mobile bar??  I might just wheel this baby into the bathroom when I give my girls their nightly bath.  That is the time at night when I could use a cocktail for sure!

If  you want to read more about shopping for decor at Target, I wrote about Target’s Threshold line here and here about how to score major deals at Tarjay!

Be on the lookout soon for a post showing how I have styled my cart and recommendations for accessories.

Have a great Monday!

If Money Were No Obejct

Happy Friday!!  Oh, how I love my Friday post.  I get to peruse the web in search of beautiful objects, pretending if only for a moment . . . that they are mine!

Up today is this amazing bamboo bar cart.

This brass beauty would set me back $3,250.  I found it on 1stdibs.  1stdibs is where high-end designers shop for clients where money REALLY is no object!

Not only is this piece financially impractical right now, it is also impractical space-wise and because I have small children.  I can just see my girls climbing on it and knocking down barware and decanters!!  But hey, this was never meant to be a practical post.

I have a ton of decanters and glassware given to us as wedding gifts, that are tucked away (far away) from my children.  But maybe one day, when they are older, it will be resurrected and placed on a cart similar to this one.

If you are lucky you could find something similar at an estate sale or antique mall.  I must find a knock-off!!

Have a wonderful weekend!  I might just be seen at an estate sale or two this weekend!
