Pool Time!

Help!  I am melting!  I don’t know about you, but where I live, it is like living on the sun right now.  On Monday, it was 106 degrees and yesterday it was supposed to cool off to a crisp 100 degrees.  All of this heat has me dreaming of a swimming pool.  The ironic thing is that my mother’s family actually owns a swimming pool company here in town.  Maybe one day, one of their amazing pools will be mine.  Until then, I will have the eye candy below to cool me down.

Doesn’t it just make you want to take a dip??  How many of you out there are lucky enough to own a pool?  How often do you use it?  Do tell in the comments!

I feel you! Totally dripping in this heat. Because putting a pool in costs a small fortune, we finally broke down and bought an extremely sturdy 16 foot doughboy pool. 4 feet deep and exactly what I needed. Talk about bringing back childhood memories. It fits right on our patio and is better than nothing, plus if I’m on my floatie and have a plastic cup with wine and close my eyes, the filter sounds like a waterfall…until I win the lottery…a doughboy is a perfect alternative. But these pools are gorgeous, thanks for sharing!

  2. I hear you about the expense! Good for you for working with what you can afford. I love that the filter sounds like a waterfall!

  3. I’ll take some of that pool weather – crazily enough we had to wear jackets today! I think you need to work out a deal with your mom – a pool in exchange for free decorating help??? 🙂

    • That sounds like a great idea Kris! Actually, my mom has a pool so maybe I will negotiate an entire house swap because my parent’s house is much larger than mine. I can upgrade and they can downsize, right? Win, win!
