Hi friends! I am all about collections and collecting. When I was younger I started with sea shells and never looked back! Lately, I have been wanting to start collecting tortoise shell boxes. The real deal can be pretty pricey, so the faux version is more likely in my future. I love the vignettes below styled with tortoise shell.
I love how each little box below is unique and different, kind of like snow flakes!!

I was searching online and found some beautiful faux tortoise glasses and candles from Neiman Marcus and Pottery Barn. That may be an easy way for me to experiment with it in my home!
What do you think? Yay or nay? Do have a collection of your own? Do share in the comments.
xoxo,

Yes!
I’ve always wanted a set of those glasses, but now you’ve made me want even more tortoise shell! Very pretty…
Update us when you start your collection.

Yes, Judy you can’t go wrong with tortoise shell glasses. They are a classic. I will definitely share when I find a collection worthy piece!
Oh yes. I have always loved tortoise shell. Its a classic pattern and can go with almost anything, especially animal prints, but I prefer the candle holders over all of the other items.
I agree, it is so classic!! I can just imagine the cozy fall feeling you would have burning candles in those holders!!
If I win, I would get the Astor Mirror! Thanks for the chance!
