Recently, I have had playrooms on the brain (no, not the 50 Shades of Grey type!) We have been toying around with the idea of having our girls share a room and using the extra room for an office/playroom. My main concern is it ending up a chaotic, unstructured place where toys are thrown everywhere. I started a Pinterest board on playrooms and what I am finding is that the key is using tons of practical storage, whimsy and decor that is fun, but not childish. Here are some of my favorite rooms.

Do you have a playroom? How do you keep it kid friendly and stylish at the same time? Most importantly, how do you contain the mess???
Have a lovely weekend friends!!

I love the inspiration photos! I’m still trying to figure out our playroom in the basement. I think my first step needs to be getting rid of the toys the kids no longer use or want!
I know Tamara. They toy clutter just kills me. I try and remind myself how in a few years I will miss it sooo much!
